In life, it can often feel that there are people standing in your way. In the way of your dreams, goals or even just in the way of you having a good time. I think that we have all felt like this at some point in our lives, I know I have. I have blamed a lot of people of this in the past. I have blamed people for standing in my way and letting me live my dream, but blaming something on someone doesn’t mean they have actually done anything at all.
There is only one person standing in my way. Only one person that allows these people’s words to sink in and make things seem impossible to achieve, me. I am the person standing in my way just like you are the person standing in your way. It’s easy to blame the person standing in front of you calling you stupid or calling your dream impossible. Far easier than blaming yourself, but it’s your fault for one reason. You believed them.
You believed them when they said you were stupid or your dream was a fantasy and nothing more. You see, I think, the only reason people become more successful than others is because they didn’t listen to these idiots. They laughed, slipped passed them and carried on working fuck hard.
If you are still blaming others for the place you are in, you need to look in the mirror. Look in the mirror and see the real person stopping you. That person will stop you achieving anything until you stand up to them. Face that arsehole and stop them destroying your dream. When you do, you will be unstoppable. If you can stop yourself from listening to people telling you you’re going to fail, how the fuck are you going to fail? You will smile and nod when they call you stupid, say you are living in a fantasy world or the thing you want is out of your grasp. Then you’ll look in the mirror at your biggest supporter and they will say ‘you’ve got this shit, man, get your head down, do it’.
